Many people stop to pray before this statue
honoring St. Joseph, husband to Mary and foster-father to Jesus.
The Carmelites have a special devotion to St.
Joseph
and consider him the principal protector of our Order. A beautiful gazebo, adjacent to the statue,
offers a comfortable place for extended prayer and reflection.

La Bruna
is the oldest representation of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.

At the beautiful shrine of St. Patrick,

Shrine is home to many relics of Carmelite Saints,
other Saints and even of the True Cross. ![]() They are housed in a beautiful medieval style setting. |

This one of a kind sculpture was a gift to
the Carmelite Friars by Swedish artist, Elizabeth Soderberg. ![]() She created it in 1962 and it has been exhibited in Zurich, Vienna and Bamberg. It has been blessed by the Arch Bishop of Scandinavia. It came to the US for the 1962 World's Fair in NYC. |
