Mother Theresa Food Collection
Every
second Sunday of the month, at the Noon Mass, people bring
non-perishable food goods to the Shrine.
They are brought up during the
offertory and placed
in front of the altar.
After Mass they are brought to a
local food pantry
for distribution to those in need.
The
collection is named for
Bl. Mother Theresa
who is known world wide for her
compassion and care
of the poor and sick.
